The Jagua Body Art Quick Guide
* Jagua Tattoos are longlasting temporary tattoos that wear off naturally over a few weeks. They do not wash off or rub off like other types of temporary tattoos. Like a henna tattoo, jagua stains the skin and then simply wears off in its own time.
* Jagua Tattoos are naturally black in colour. The exact depth of colour depends on a few things, like where the jagua tattoo is placed, how long the jagua product is left on the skin, and how well the jagua tattoo is looked after.
* Jagua Tattoos are totally safe. The dye comes from a fruit that grows throughout the Amazon rainforests called Jagua (Latin name Genipa Americana). The dye has been used for hundreds if not thousands of years by the indigenous peoles of the Amazon.
* Jagua Tattoos are totally cool! They may be new over here but in The Rainforests of South America people have a long history of wearing Jagua Body Art. For further information, checkout the pages listed on the sidebar.
